![]() ![]() I do really want to use the ROG fan controller, one hub one software to sync everything in the case. Is there a way to fix it? does anyone experienced similar issues with the LIanLi SL120 fans and/or ROG fan controller humming/buzzing noise? I have suspicious that the PCI connector to provide power is not enough for the ROG fan controller, as difference with the LianLi that use the SATA one. ![]() Maybe is good to mention that the reason I try to use the ROG fan controller is because it comes with 6 connectors for fans + 6 argb connectors + 2 thermal sensors, so basically everything goes through the controller, instead of half via Lian Li and half directly to the motherboard They run smooth and silent, but I have to have multiples software open to configure and sync fan speeds and rgb lights. And the main issue regarding the humming/buzzing noise is not even present. Same if I use proprietary Lian Li hub and software. When fan connected to motherboard directly no problem, and PWM works fine, the BIOS via Q-Fan and even the Fan Xpert software can manage fans properly. If I manually increase rpm the noise stops at some point by almost at high rpm, it has no sense since system is idle and ideally fans should run silently. I tried to use it to manage the the UniFans, it seems to work but apparently the hub/controller:Ĭan not to detect the PWM accordingly, so the rpm ranges are settled wrong I want to use this hub instead of the LianLi one. Recently I bough a ASUS motherboard that comes with a Fan controller/hub.
